We are delighted to announce our continued support for Care England, the leading representative body for independent care providers in England, by exhibiting and delivering a workshop at its annual conference in London on 16 November 2017.
The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Shaping Tomorrow’, which will take a closer look at areas of innovation and development within the social care sector. The conference will consider not just technological advances and their applications for care provision, but also new business models and insights into the European situation.
Matthew Drysdale, Carterwood principal surveyor, will lead an informative workshop at 2pm in the Herbert Baker Room: Making sense of rising land values for new care home development. Over the course of this interactive session, Matthew will discuss why land prices have risen so dramatically in recent years, and will present scenarios that reflect how values for fully mature trading homes support these prices.
Amanda Nurse, co-founder and director at Carterwood, says: “Carterwood is delighted to once again support the Care England conference. The subject of ‘Shaping Tomorrow’ will no doubt raise some interesting discussions and we look forward to welcoming visitors to our exhibition stand and workshop.”
