Q1 2023 data for Great Britain from our contributing operators reveals:
- Occupancy across the sector continues to recover steadily, reaching 86.7% in Q1 2023, just 0.6% shy of the pre-pandemic average of 87.3%
- Average weekly fee, which includes all funding sources, ticked up again slightly in Q1 2023, reaching £1,060 p/w in the final quarter of the financial year
- Agency staff costs drop significantly for the first time since their rapid increase in the second half of 2021
