We have recently recruited a graduate research analyst to join the consultancy team. Jessica Stainthorp studied at Durham University, where she obtained a BSc (Hons) in Physics, and will undertake research, analyse data and assist with the development of spreadsheets for a range of analysis.
In addition, we are pleased to announce four new promotions, recognising both increased responsibility and workloads to four members of the team. Alex Taylor has been promoted to Associate, Matthew Drysdale has been promoted to Principal Surveyor, and both Victoria Millard and Luke Sefton have been promoted to Senior Analysts.
Alex joined Carterwood in 2010 and along with Ben Hartley, one of the founding directors of the business, manages the consultancy team with a specific focus on care homes, extra care and care villages, and has been promoted to Associate.
Matthew has secured a number of instructions in relation to land disposals and has continued to ensure that our key agency clients receive a very high level of service and has been promoted to Principal Surveyor.
Both Victoria and Luke joined Carterwood in 2015 as analysts as part of the graduate programme and have been promoted to Senior Analysts. They are responsible for undertaking initial research, analysing and interpreting data and producing detailed bespoke consultancy reports, having obtained a solid understanding of the care home and older person’s markets.
Amanda Nurse, Director, said:
“The Carterwood business model and the service we provide to our clients is based on sound knowledge and dedicated teamwork from all of our staff. At this time of year, it is appropriate that we look to reward and promote team members who have made significant contributions to the company in the year, and I am delighted that we are able to reward these members of the team with promotions.
As we look to enhance management and mid-level roles within the team it is therefore vitally important we seek to fill the junior roles within the organisation and I am delighted that Jessica Stainthorp has joined us as a graduate research analyst.
We have also just embarked on another round of recruitment to increase the team further; with the search for a placement student to join us in the summer of 2017 and a newly qualified graduate to join us in the autumn.”
