Location: Future Space, Filton – Hybrid (mix of remote and office-based each week)

The Role

As a Junior Product Owner, you will be trained under the guidance of our Product Owner to develop a deep understanding of our product and customer base. You will support the product development process, from initial concept through to release, while also playing a key role in onboarding new clients and providing technical support, offering an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in SaaS product management.

 

Product Management

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to define product features and user stories.
  • Assist in prioritising and maintaining the product backlog based on business needs and customer feedback.
  • Participate in sprint planning, testing, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support in the creation and maintenance of product documentation.

 

Customer Success

  • Conduct onboarding demonstrations and training sessions for new and existing clients, ensuring they are equipped to use our platform effectively.
  • Provide first-line technical support via telephone and a dedicated email, troubleshooting any issues clients may face.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate client information within our CRM system and digital platforms.

 

About You

We are looking for either a recent graduate or someone looking to make a career change into product management. You might have experience in customer support, UX, or a related role and are now keen to pivot towards a product-focused career. While prior experience in product management is not required, you should be confident discussing technical concepts and enjoy problem-solving. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and convey ideas in both virtual and face-to-face environments.
  • An organised and detail-oriented approach to managing multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, UX or CRM systems is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.
