Carterwood are thrilled to share the news that Inspired Villages have recently completed the acquisition of a 27-acre site in Edenbridge, Kent, with plans to develop a new 100-unit integrated retirement community.
The site, formerly the home to Kent and Surrey Golf Club, is the 29th site to be acquired as part of a £500m joint venture between NatWest Pension Group Fund and Legal & General. The 15-year joint venture aims to scale up delivery of net zero carbon later living communities across the UK to meet the fast-growing need for specialist later living accommodation. Developed and operated by Inspired Villages, the joint venture aims to develop 34 integrated retirement communities, providing 5,100 homes with a GDV of c.£4bn.
