Carterwood has appointed Henry Crosby as a data and technology manager to strengthen its research systems and data management.
Henry had worked for Carterwood for one year on a part-time basis whilst he completed his three-year PhD at the University of Warwick, and has now joined the business on a full-time basis. Henry’s role focuses on supporting the technology functions of the business. His work includes the strategic and operational maintenance of all backend data within the business, including the introduction of new data for Carterwood’s products. Henry is also supporting director Ben Hartley with product development and will be working very closely with Carterwood’s R&D department to ensure timely, accurate and integral data for our ever-changing industry.
Carterwood director Ben Hartley says: “Data is integral to our consultancy work, providing the foundation for all our market reports. Henry’s appointment will help ensure our research processes stay at the forefront of the industry, and give our clients peace of mind that our data management, quality and sourcing are outstanding.”
Henry comments “Carterwood have shown themselves to be industry leaders on the effective use of data to understand the care home and older people’s housing markets in the UK. I am excited to utilise the latest technologies, including some state-of-the-art approaches that are not yet used in industry, to better leverage the outstanding data that Carterwood already possess. This means that we can continue to produce reports containing high quality analytics, but now at a faster pace and on a much larger scale.”
To enable further expansion in the business, we are currently recruiting for an SQL/Python developer to assist Henry in his new role; as well as an accounts assistant. For more information, please visit our Join Us page.
