We are proud to sponsor the Women in Healthcare Property Forum’s (WiHPF) annual fundraising party, which takes place on the 30 November in London and aims to raise £5,000 for the Care Workers Charity.
The vision of the WiHPF is to support and empower women in the healthcare sector, to create more female leaders at the top of the industry and reflect the true make-up of the workforce.
The event is by invitation only, and four members of our team will be attending, including Amanda Nurse, Aishling Barrett, Grace Wheelwright and Jessica Stainthorp.
The Care Workers Charity is the benevolent fund for the care sector, supporting anyone who works, or has worked, in care by offering hardship grants and online information and advice.
Carterwood co-founder and director, Amanda Nurse, said: “We have attended several of WiHPF’s events over the years and have found them to be incredibly supportive for women in the healthcare sector at all stages of their career. We’re so pleased to show our support this year by sponsoring the annual fundraising party, which I’m sure will be a fantastic evening of networking, inspiration and entertainment.”
Other sponsors of the fundraiser include Athena Care Homes, Gerald Eve, Hallmark Care Homes, Precious Homes, Majesticare, Santander, Sweet Tree, Target, Goldfinch, Carehome.co.uk and LNT.
