We are delighted to announce our continued partnership with the National Care Forum (NCF) by once again sponsoring its annual conference on 15–16 May, which will be held at the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre.
Entitled “Taking Care Forward”, keynote speakers and workshops provide delegates the opportunity to consider the practical implications of policy and regulation, as well as offering networking opportunities with senior executives from the not-for-profit sector.
For the first time, the NCF is introducing a brand new Rising Stars programme, which Carterwood is delighted to be sponsoring. The programme offers ten free places to registered managers within a care organisation who the nominators feel would benefit from the opportunity to engage with the conference programme, delegates and speakers.
During the conference, there will be a dedicated session for the Rising Stars, and they will be introduced to a programme of support that will run throughout the year.
Amanda Nurse commented, “We are delighted to be sponsoring the new Rising Stars initiative, which will provide ongoing support to 10 registered managers throughout the year. Investing in developing managers and supporting them through a mentoring programme will provide invaluable investment, not only for these successful managers, but also for their associated organisation and the care sector as a whole. More initiatives that support and develop professionals in the care sector are very welcome.”
Amanda Nurse, Tom Hartley and Matthew Drysdale will be attending the conference and representing Carterwood, and will be available on the Carterwood stand.
