On the 17 October, Carterwood, in partnership with Burges Salmon, hosted a dinner at the Savoy Hotel in London. The evening saw some of the leading and most active developers, operators and investors in the elderly care sector come together to celebrate the development of high-quality provision that is currently ongoing within the sector.
The guest respective organisations have developed and opened over 3,000 care home bedspaces and retirement units across the UK between them and have significantly raised the standards of the UK market provision. The evening provided a forum for lively debate and discussion about opportunities in the sector. Guests were able to share their ideas with people in the sector who they would not typically have the opportunity to do so.
Carterwood director, Matthew Drysdale said “We were delighted to host such an eclectic mix of operators, developers and investors. Conversation was lively and engaging and it was great to hear so many different takes on key issues and opportunities throughout the sector”.
Carterwood are known for being innovators in the sector, and events such as this allow both the space for lively discussion and the ideas to keep the UK’s healthcare sector moving forward. We recognise that all attendees are committed to increasing the quality of care provision in the elderly care sector, and the dinner provided the perfect setting to celebrate both their ambition and their achievements.
