Carterwood have secured yet another site completion this year, with the sale of a 3.4-acre site in Bridgend on behalf of Edwards Construction to Linc Cymru Housing Association. The site benefits from a town centre location and has been acquired by Linc Cymru Housing Association on an unconditional basis.
Gareth Edward, Edwards Construction, commented:
“Carterwood ran an efficient marketing process which identified an ideal purchaser in Linc Cymru Housing Association. Linc were a pleasure to deal with and concluded the deal in a quick timeframe.”
Louise Attwood, development director at Linc Cymru Housing Association, added:
“We are delighted to have secured our new site in the centre of Bridgend. We consider this to be a strategically important site and look forward to realising its potential during 2017.”
Matthew Drysdale, principal surveyor at Carterwood, who dealt with the sale, concluded:
“We are pleased to have secured the sale of this scheme to Linc Cymru Housing Association and wish them every success. Carterwood have a long-standing relationship with Edwards Construction and being able to assist them on this latest sale has meant a lot to us. While the Welsh land market has historically been somewhat slower in comparison to the booming English market, this deal is a clear indication that things are picking up on the other side of the Severn Bridge.”
